Lewis bangs Ravens over Steelers
Baltimore Ravens' Halfback Jamal Lewis proved he is one of the elite backs in the Natural
Football League as he helped the Ravens defeated the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers 20 to 13 in the Game of the Week.
Lewis (pictured) rushed a remarkable 40 times while gaining 169 yards and scoring one touchdown. The Ravens defense
also came to play allowing the Steelers just 190 total yards of offense, a 2.9 average per run and just 94 passing yards.
The Ravens defense was lead by Linebacker Terrell Suggs and Defensive End Adalis Thomas. Suggs recorded a pair of sacks
while Thomas recorded a amazing 10 tackles for his end position. Lewis controlled the offense and the defense shut down
the Steelers for the most part. Both teams are currently 1-1 on the season. Currently the Detroit Lions, Kansas
City Chiefs, New Orleans Saints, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Diego Chargers, New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys remain
unbeaten.
